Grandstream Networks, the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, announced today that they have completed interoperability testing between their FXS and FXO devices and Viking Electronics’ Intercom, Paging and Door Stations. This certification allows for the integration of Grandstream’s VoIP GXW-series Gateways, HT-series ATAs and UCM6100 series IP PBX with Viking Electronics’ PA-2A and PA-15 Paging Amplifier and E-35 Door Station intercom to allow users to make paging/intercom announcements using analog and IP phones.

The PA-2A provides loud ringing and paging to electronic key systems, 1A2 Key systems, PABX’s as well as No-KSU phones and multiline phones. Paging is accomplished by connecting the PA-2A to a paging port or unused telephone line input (FXO port) of nearly any phone system. The PA-15 interfaces with virtually any telephone system to provide 15 watts of paging power – enough to drive fifteen 8-ohm paging horns or speakers. The E-35 is a weather and vandal resistant handsfree video phone designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree communication and CCTV video of who is at your door or gate. The E-35 can be connected directly to a C.O. line, analog PABX/KSU station/FXS, or a Viking Door/Gate Controller: C-200, C-250, C-500 or C-2000B.
